This amplexicaulis x syriaca hybrid was first discovered growing in the wild in 2023. We collected seeds and found that most of the offspring retained the mother plants traits. These seeds come from those selected offspring.

We named this hybrid Tyrian for the royal purple coloring of the umbels. Compared to amplexicaulis, this variety is much more forgiving of soil type. Grows in sand or loam.

Not an aggressive plant, it stays within it's clump. Photos are of the actual mother plants.

Reaches 2-3' tall.
