Dwarf grain sorghum is a warm season, annual forage grass. It can be used for forage production or planted as a wildlife crop. Dwarf grain sorghum is easier to grow than corn because it tolerates drought conditions very well. Deer and upland gamebirds will consume the mature seed heads as a good energy source.

A good intercrop with beans and peas. 3-4 ft. stalks.
